I had the honour of delivering a TEDx talk at TEDx Lotus Petal School, Gurugram, held on 8 November 2025 at Lotus Petal School, run by the Lotus Petal Foundation. The event brought together students, educators, and changemakers to celebrate stories of courage, resilience, reinvention, and the power of choosing a different path.
My talk, “Your Beginning Isn’t the End of Your Story,” was a deeply personal reflection on how the circumstances we are born into do not have to become the limits of our lives. The heart of my message was this: our beginnings may shape us, but they do not have to define us. With self-belief, resilience, inner work, and consistent small choices, we can rewrite our story and step into a life of greater courage, freedom, and purpose.
Speaking to the students at Lotus Petal School made this experience especially meaningful, because the foundation’s work is rooted in transforming lives through education, nutrition, healthcare, and skill development. It felt deeply aligned with the message I wanted to leave behind – that every child, every young person, and every human being deserves to know that their story can change.
